How to be a good sushi chef is not easy. However, this book will show you very basic sushi stuffs. It is fun and easy to follow. I advise you not to care about fish cutting even this book explains in detail. If you have a party and you want to "show off", this book is a well done book to learn in a week or less.

Fish knowledge in this book is very limited. However, this book show you in detail many basic fish including salmon, yellowtail, some white fish and mackerel. This book explains well what is nigiri, sushi, sashimi, rolls and other type of sushi.

It is interesting to read and it is well written in colorful pages. It is "absolutely perfect" for beginner.
